29 Palms Annual Weed Show
Workshop

The Twentynine Palms Historical Society is again offering Weed Show participants who want to gain a competitive edge the opportunity to attend a free hands-on workshop for adults and children to learn how to Weed Show 2013 Icon create and practice making eye-catching arrangements. Award-winning Weed Show veterans have teamed up for the workshop, which will run from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, October 12 at the Old Schoolhouse Museum. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Though walk-ins are welcome, seating for the workshop is limited. Those who have reserved a seat will have priority. For more information or to reserve a seat, call (760) 367-2452.

This year's show, themed "29 PALMS GOLD," is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday, November 2 and 3.

After the workshop, docents also will be on hand to conduct tours of the museum, housed in the community's historic original schoolhouse.
