General Membership Meeting
In accordance with Article II, Section II of the Bylaws of the Twentynine Palms Historical Society a meeting, to which all members are invited, is conducted annually on the third Saturday of November.
The purpose of this meeting is to elect new Board Members to fill expired terms, review the Annual Report, and approve the proposed budget for the coming year.
The board encourages ALL members in good standing to attend this year's meeting on Saturday, November 16, 2013, 1:00pm at the Old Schoolhouse Museum.
The terms of Directors Jimmy Biggerstaff, Laureen Lentz, and Les Snodgrass expire this year (2013). If you are interested in filling one of these seats please contact our President, Les Snodgrass. Directors must be willing to attend the monthly Board meetings, serve on various committees, and participate in major Society events throughout the year. The term is three years.
As a point of reference, last year Board members gave an average of over 200 hours each to the Society
